NEW ORLEANS (January 9, 2015) — The Chandler (Arizona) High School Men's Choir was honored Friday with an OUTSTANDING RATING and AUDIENCE FAVORITE award at the eighth annual International Youth Barbershop Chorus Festival in New Orleans.
Under the direction of Lori Lyford, the 43-voice chorus emerged at the top of a strong group of 17 high school and college men's groups from across the continent performing in the festival. Chandler sang a strong barbershop set that included the archetypal "Sweet Adeline" and "Driving Me Crazy' to earn the audience's love and a standing ovation.
